Plastic Eyelid Surgery

Possible Diagnosis

* Plastic surgery techniques and the operating microscope are used to correct eyelid problems with minimal scarring.

* As eyelid position must be exact, it may be necessary for further surgery to follow. This is mainly a concern with entropion.

Possible Complications

Eyelid disease can cause scarring on the eyeball and or conjunctivitis. In many cases the eyelid surgery is enough to allow these changes to resolve. However some cases may require drops, injections and tablets to control the reaction to the eyelid disease.
