THE ANIMAL EYE CARE TEAM

Dr Robin Stanley - Ophthamologist:

Robin is an honours graduate of the University of Melbourne. He is a Member (small animal surgery) and Fellow (ophthalmology) of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists. Robin is a clinical Consultant & visiting Senior Lecturer at the school of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne and a tutor for the Post Graduate Foundation, Sydney University. Robin has lectured throughout Australia, and also in New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Sweden, England, and the United States.

Robin's pets include: "Buddy" Australian Shepherd.

Dr Chloe Hardman - Ophthamologist:

Chloe is an honours graduate, she then completed an internship and has a masters degree from the University of Melbourne. Chloe is also a Member (small animal surgery), and Fellow (ophthalmology) of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists. Chloe also has lectured at the Veterinary School, University of Melbourne, around Australia and also in the United States and Europe.

Chloe's pets include: "Mieta" Pharoah Hound, "Maddison" and "Molly" Ridgeback X's.

Dr Anu O'Reilly - Ophthamologist:

Anu is a graduate from the Murdoch University in Perth and has a masters degree from the University of Melbourne. Anu is a Member (medicine) of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists, and has a Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Anu completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Animal Eye Care.

Anu's pets include: "Georgie" Bull Terrier X, "David" Domestic Shorthair, & "Turtle" Domestic Shorthair.

Nathalie Francis - Vet Nurse, Ophthamologist Assistant:

Nathalie originally worked for Robin in 1990 and came back in 2004. Nathalie was also given the opportunity to travel to Nashville Tennessee for the VOTS conference in October 2005. In 2007 Nathalie went over seas to work at Willows Veterinary Referral Centre in Birmingham for three months.

Nat's pets include: "Toby" Domestic Shorthair, "Bernard" Scottish Deerhound and "Emma" her pony.

Bronwyn Williams - Vet Nurse CVN:

Bronwyn started working at Animal Eye Care in February 2005. Bronwyn then successfully completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2006. Bronwyn also has a diploma in Multimedia Web Design - she is the creator of the new site.

Bron's pets include: "Jack" Tibetan Spaniel X, and "Geordie" Maltese X.

 

Tegan McPhail - Vet Nurse Trainee:

Tegan joined the team in April 2007 and is currently studing Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Tegan has also completed Certificate II in Horse Studies at Melbourne University in high school, then studied a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science and Management at Melbourne University which she completed in 2006. Tegan has a keen interest in Zoo Keeping.

Tegan's pets include: "Taj" and "Caspian"Arab horses and "Milly" Domestic Shorthair.

 

Georgina Williams - Vet Nurse

George first worked for Robin twenty years ago when he was starting out. George returned in 2007 as a part time surgerical nurse, and then in 2008 was made fulltime. George brings to the team 20+ years of experience.

George's pets include: "Diesel" Heeler X, "Zarro" Parrot, "Moe", "Oscar", "Rafiki", "Archer", "Jessie" and "Charlie" Domestic Shorthair and Longhair cats.

Lauren Kirby - Vet Nurse Trainee

Lauren joined the team in early March 2008, She is currently studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Victoria University at Werribee. Lauren has also completed a Certificate III in Companion Animal Services last year.

Lauren pet's include: 'Sissy' Kelpie X, 'Lilo' and 'Stitch' Guinea Pigs, some Chickens and a Rooster!

Jane Whitley - Vet Student

Jane has been working full time at Animal Eye Care since July 2007 and enjoys a number of roles including ophthalmic assistant. Prior to this, Jane worked for many years in medical and agricultural research, is an expert wallaby catcher and has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Jane is now studying vet science in 2008.

Jane's pets include: "Rachel" Domestic Shorthair, possible and Australian Mist!

Jessica Cole - Vet Nurse Trainee:

Jessica joined Animal Eye Care in late 2006, she is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at RMIT University and has a keen interest in animals. Jess hopes to continue learning about ophthalmology.

Jess' pets include: "Albert" Domestic Shorthair.

Buddy - Australian Shepherd

Buddy enjoys meeting everyone, he seems to be more interested in the owners more than their animals. He likes to make clients comfortable and is a very easy going dog. Has an obsession with food.

Toby - Domestic Shorthair

Toby leads a life of sleeping, greeting and eating! He's incredibly friendly and doesn't mind dogs taking interest. Loves liver treats.

Bernard - Scottish Deerhound

Bernard works behind the scenes, he's a little shy and quiet but once he's happy with the situation he'll be very welcoming. Often confused with a Wolfhound or Airedale. He too loves a treat.
