Protocols in response to COVID-19 5 day lockdown February 2021.
We are an essential service and fall into one of the four reasons why you can leave home (caregiving).
We are in the process of sending letters to all clients booked Saturday 13th February to Wednesday 17th February to state that you are travelling for an essential service. Please keep this letter on you when you travel. It can be printed out or on your device.
***You are permitted to travel more than 5km for this essential service but remember to keep the letter on you.***
We will not be able to see you or your pet if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you are self isolating for any reason.
By attending your appointment you acknowledge that you are fit and well.
When you arrive at Animal Eye Care
1. Please feel free to come into the waiting room as long as there are less than THREE clients present.
2. Mask wearing in the waiting room is required.
3. Please check-in using the QR code provided or the check-in register sheet
4. You must observe social distancing at all times. We will have areas highlighted in the waiting room.
5. We are allowing one pet owner with each pet into the consult room. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable and we will ask a nurse to hold your pet for examination
6. Mask wearing is required in the consult room at all times.
We are changing our requirements as the Victorian State government requirements are also changing. However please let us know if you are not comfortable with any of these arrangements. The other clinics that we visit may have different rules and may not allow the client into the waiting room and/or consult room. Please respect their wishes.
If you do not feel comfortable coming into the clinic please let us know and one of our nurses can come to the car park and we can take your pet into the clinic. One of our ophthalmologists can call you and get a history and then call you back with the clinical findings. We can then print out summary of the consultation and client information sheets.
